LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP®) is a facilitation methodology using LEGO® bricks to unlock creative thinking and problem-solving. Originally developed for strategic planning and team development, it’s now widely used across industries to foster innovation, collaboration, and engagement.
In our LSP® workshops, participants use LEGO® bricks to create models to represent ideas, challenges, or goals, helping them to communicate complex concepts in a hands-on, visual way.
It encourages open dialogue, deep reflection, and shared understanding, making it an effective tool for team building, strategic planning, and leadership development.
It’s amazing what one brick can lead to!
From Idea to Business:
Helps visualise and explore ideas for new markets, trends, or strategic shifts through interactive, hands-on building.
From Strategy to Action:
Facilitates creation of tangible models & action plans to bring strategies to life and embed them into daily operations.
Understanding Change:
LSP® allows teams to create models that represent both current and desired future states, promoting understanding of change.
Managing Transitions:
It enables organisations to map out and discuss change processes, providing clarity and reducing resistance through visual storytelling.
Building Trust:
Through collaborative building exercises, teams enhance trust and communication, by sharing perspectives and creating shared visions.
Aligning Goals:
LSP® helps align team members by building models that represent individual roles and how they fit into the broader team dynamic.
Developing Leadership Vision:
Leaders can use LSP® to clarify and communicate their vision and how to achieve it by creating models to represent future goals.
Empowering Leadership Styles:
It promotes reflective leadership by encouraging leaders to create and explore different leadership approaches and assess their impact.
Our leaders do not have all the answers. LSP® allows everyone’s voice in the room to be heard. This method draws on a different part of a brain.
3D => 4D = curiosity + insights.
Each person creates their own model. It’s not about the model, but the metaphor and story being told. No-one can assess, evaluate or provide an alternative to somebody else’s story.
Psychological safety is a key principle around the conduct of LSP®. It ensures the ability for all participants to engage and tell their story without fear.
The LSP® methodology is fun. It draws on the ability for people to feel connected through play, while being purposeful in driving actions and outcomes.
Our LEGO® Serious Play® Methodology Accredited Facilitator will work with you to define agreed objectives along with desired outcomes. This ensures we set expectations up front and ensure the flow of the workshop without any ambiguity.

Our workshop team's combined knowledge of the Corporate Real Estate environment will help deepen the discussion and insights of the team as they identify key outcomes, especially when introducing change agents and change drivers within the workshop.
After the workshop, we'll submit a summary report of the workshop with any identified values, insights and key actions.
Ensuring the success of two recently merged teams.
This client hosted a 2-day workshop, utilising the LEGO® Serious Play® Methodology, to support the successful integration of two recently merged teams within their Project Management Office (PMO) function. Through interactive exercises, team-building activities, and collaborative discussions, the aim of the workshop was to establish aligned values, foster a unified identity and clarify the team’s positioning within the broader organisation.
"This 2-day workshop was an excellent investment. It allowed leadership to identify our hidden problem-solvers and address issues that were causing demotivation and leaving the team at risk..."
Our workshops have had significant business benefits for our clients, encouraging imagination, openness, and enhancing relationship-building and the flow of new ideas and solutions.
